Arklow Credit Union Accessibility Statement
Arklow Credit Union as a community service is committed to providing accessibility for all our members, to our suite of services. This includes digital accessibility, as well as personal in-branch or over the phone alternatives when needed.
Achieving Level A accessibility conformance
We strive to achieve level A accessibility conformance as defined within the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. We have conducted an audit of our online services and are working with our website and app providers to remediate issues found.
Some older or third-party content or features, which predate the introduction of the European Accessibility Act, may not be fully accessible.
In addition to online banking via our app we offer in-person face to face service if extra support is needed. Please inform us if you need extra assistance.
Examples include:
- Explaining the terms of a new loan or credit agreement
- Providing electronic documents for you to translate electronically
We also have a user-friendly information brochure which provides an easy-to-read guide on availing of our services such as registering for online banking, downloading the app, etc. This is available in our branches.
Formal Complaints
Complaints and redress mechanisms of either the Equal Status Act 2000 (No. 8 of 2000) or the Disability Act 2005 (No. 14 of 2005), or both, can apply.
